Tapping into trending products and uncovering a gap in the market is all part of being an entrepreneur. But in a constantly evolving, competitive online space, it can be difficult to know when a product is worth selling.

Whether you’re dropshipping, looking for another product to add to your inventory, or an entrepreneur looking for something new to get behind, read on for five of the best products to sell online in April 2025.

There are a few different ways you can find a trending product. Checking the Amazon trending products list, paying attention to what influencers are promoting, or simply asking your customers what they’d like to see are just some ways you can get inspired.

But using a search engine tracker tool like Google Trends is one of the best ways to understand if a product is trending. With Google Trends, you can see the bigger picture to understand whether something is truly growing in popularity or just a passing fad.

That’s why we’ve used a combination of Google Trends and Ahrefs (a search volume tool) to find five trending products in April 2025.

1. Walking pad

Whether it’s for filming TikToks or trying to get your steps from the comfort of your home, walking pads are growing in popularity. Peaking at almost 850,000 searches a month in 2025 so far, the compact treadmill has become a staple of people’s ‘cosy cardio’ routines from home.

Since 2023, the amount of people looking for walking pads has grown by 400 per cent,  which coincides with people adjusting to new working patterns post-pandemic.

And with ‘weighted vests for walking’ being another term to have grown massively in the last couple of years, it could be time to capitalise on the fitness trend.

When you look at the search trend over the last two years, there’s a peak around December and January. Whether it’s a popular Christmas gift or a way to avoid cold winter walks, there’s clearly a seasonal aspect to consider if you sell walking pads.

2. Contour pillow

Getting enough sleep is a priority for many people. But beyond a comfy mattress and silky sheets, contour pillows seem to be the next key to a good night’s sleep. The pillow is designed to fit the natural curves of your head and neck to make sure you don’t sleep in an uncomfortable position.

Searches for contour pillows barely existed a couple years ago but now average at 22,000 a month. And with other terms like ‘cervical pillows’ and ‘adjustable pillows’ getting a fair amount of search too, it’s clearly a growing industry.

But it’s not  limited to just pillows. The market for sleep products – whether that’s supplements, sleep tracking technology, or mattresses and bed frames – is becoming huge. In fact, some are estimating the sleep industry could be globally worth $950 billion by 2032.

    3. Posture corrector

The rise of working from home and a more online world has led to people sitting more than ever. From this, a whole industry of health conscious products have emerged.

Posture correctors, a wearable brace that pulls your shoulders back and improves your posture, are one of the latest innovations. And with a global search volume nearing 100,000 a month, it’s a product that’s gained lots of interest.

    4. Stainless steel pans

Maybe it’s down to the rise of TikTok foodies, or the growth of home cooking enthusiasts – stainless steel pans have become a staple in kitchens everywhere.

You can see how interest over time has grown in the last couple years. The baseline interest for stainless steel pans is much higher in 2025. And with kitchenware company, Made In, having an estimated revenue of $4.6 billion in 2024, the demand is clear.

But consider where your gap in the market could be – it’s a competitive industry where you’ll need to have a unique selling point to thrive.

    5. Beef tallow

Beef tallow is an oddly versatile product. You’ll see it pop up in cooking, skincare, and even soap making. But the two biggest uses of beef tallow are as a flavourful oil substitute in cooking or a key ingredient in moisturisers.

With over 400,000 searches a month globally, there’s a huge demand. And as you can see from the graph below, its interest over time has grown massively in the last two years. Proving that this product is trending in the right direction.

Picking a product – remember to do your research

Whenever you’re looking for something to sell, make sure you do your research into trending products. Sometimes products are passing fads, rather than a growing market.

Try to find the balance between products that are experiencing a spike in popularity, but where the interest has been steadily growing over a longer period of time.

And evaluate how sustainable selling certain products will be, particularly ones that are seasonal by nature. You should aim to have a steady cash flow into your business, rather than one that fluctuates between busy and quiet periods.
